DP World, a subsidiary of Dubai World—the international investment arm of the Government of Dubai—is one of the largest port operators in the world. In Senegal, DP World manages and operates the Port of Dakar, with an initial handling capacity supported by two ship-to-shore cranes. ProTec was selected to execute this critical expansion project, ensuring enhanced efficiency and operational capacity for Dakar’s maritime gateway.
